Thank you so much for offering such a great mystery! My family gets together every other Thanksgiving for a BIG party! "Death in them thar hills" was perfect since we live in Arizona and for many it was the first time in Arizona. Everyone (35 of us) came in costume, (a requirement for Dinner!) AND played their part perfectly. This play is written so well that it goes extremely smooth with very little preparation. There were many pictures taken and I wanted to send just a few. What a blast! Please share my pictures to show off some great costumes. I have shown my album to many who have requested your web address. Thanks again!

It was an outstanding success. We had 83 guests who really entered into the spirit of the evening. Great fun, the feedback has been wonderful. A most enjoyable evening. We will do another one again next year.

"Death in Them Thar Hills" was well-received by over 120 guests as they enjoyed a four-course dinner at our Italian restaurant. Several of the players were Wild West re-enactment cowboys - complete with authentic Western gear. This ensemble of volunteers included two celebrity comedians, two teachers, a restaurant owner, a consultant, and others from varied backgrounds. Guests came in Western attire and we had an absolute blast! Thank you, Jack, for writing mysteries that make our lives so full of fun and joy. We can't wait for the next one.

I have done hundreds of Dinner Theatre musicals in my 30 years as Minister of Music and Arts but never a Mystery Theater. I didn't know what to expect but I needed something that was fun, easy to stage, involving lots of people and most of all clean family entertainment. Your work was a big hit. All ages were present and enjoyed the evening. Because of the easy-to-follow and complete instructions, staging and production was easy and rehearsals were kept to a minumum ... a blessing in the summer when all of us are busy with vacations and work schedules.

Our Mystery Party was a great success! Our teachers and community members did a great job of "being in character". Our event sold out (over 200 in attendance). The mystery lent itself perfectly for incorporating a dinner, raffle, silent auction, and dessert auction. We were done in 3.5 hours! Thanks so much.

"Death in them thar hills" was fabulous as were the costumes! We have some real hams in Rotary Believe me. Tricia Truehart, the doctor, was a male doctor in drag! Our undertaker was a mortician in long-tailed jacket and stovepipe hat. We had a wonderful time as did the audience. The best part was listening to motive, means, and opportunity, and the remarks about the ugliest woman doctor they had ever seen. Thanks for all of you hard work. It was a success.as a perfect fit (as per your recommendation) for our group of about 60 people. Thank you.

"Death in them thar hills" was an astounding success over this past weekend.  I have used other mystery writers before but nothing comes close to the TOTAL package that is presented by you...my guests loved it!!

The evening was a complete success! It was the first time that any of the cast members had been in a murder mystery and it was the first time I had ever run one. Still, the night went incredibly smoothly, it was as though we had been performing murder mysteries for years. Thanks for the good time!

Thank you for creating "Death in Them Thar Hills" - our family used it to have a fabulous Christmas/Murder Mystery Party! We even turned Christmas morning brunch into a Cowboy Brunch so we could carry on with the theme! We can't wait to try another of your murder mysteries at our next family gathering. Thanks again for an outstanding package!

I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you that we had the Dinner/Dance fund raiser and we did the Murder Mystery you donated to us. What a ball everyone had! We raised about $30,000 during our silent and live auctions. Everyone had a great time and really loved dressing up. The Murder Mystery was very easy to follow, plan and pull off. I really appreciate your donation. My family and I have generally owned our own businesses and we hold to the saying that you should, "do business where business is done." For this reason I will be buying a murder mystery from you personally soon. My birthday is in January and I have held one here at my home before and loved it. I will buy one from you this time instead of where I bought it before. Thank you for supporting Hearts and Horses.

Last winter our group used your play, "Death in Them Thar Hills" and it was a big success! What started out as an experiment to see how mystery dinner theaters would go over, turned into a sell-out crowd. It was the best attended event ever put on here (250 people showed up).

All of us at the Hotel Vicky in Niederau, Austria, thoroughly enjoyed our evening spent solving the mystery "Death in them thar hills", old and young alike. It brought everyone together and got them talking. All the hotel staff took on the various main roles and each family had one additional role ro play; my husband was Elmo Jennings, the stagecoach driver. Even our 7-year-old daughter got into the swing of things.
